Winter Is Here in Cloudheim
Cloudheim has rolled out its seasonal winter update, Frostfall, now available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Developed by Noodle Cat Games, this free, limited-time event arrives alongside Patch 5. It brings a festive twist to the physics-based action RPG, adding new challenges, themed content, and generous seasonal rewards.
The Frostfall Winter Event transforms the world of Odin Shell with a wintry atmosphere. It introduces a brand-new dungeon filled with fresh encounters and holiday-inspired enemies. Players can explore this new area while uncovering presents, exclusive seasonal loot, and other surprises scattered throughout the event. Building on the foundations laid by the earlier Pumpkin Fest, Frostfall expands the seasonal experience with more depth, variety, and difficulty, offering something new for both returning players and newcomers. The update also introduces Hango, a completely new character who is automatically unlocked and available to all players during the event.
Beyond the seasonal content, Patch 5 focuses heavily on improving the overall Early Access experience. One of the most notable additions is cross-world XP progression, which allows hero and class experience earned in one world to carry over when joining another. This change makes cooperative play smoother and progression more consistent. The update also adds a pause feature and reworks the stats screen to make character information clearer and easier to understand.
Further adjustments include refinements to difficulty and enemy HP scaling, ensuring a more balanced challenge across the game. Additional sources of World Stars have also been introduced, helping players transition more smoothly from Greenvor to Frostvaldr. Together, these updates make Frostfall both a festive celebration and a meaningful step forward for Cloudheim.
