Once Upon A Katamari Has Released the Katamari Damacy Series Dance Dance Remixe DLC

Enjoy the New Tracks in Once Upon A Katamari

The cosmic clutter-collecting world of Once Upon A Katamari expands today with its first downloadable bundle, a rhythmic burst titled Katamari Damacy Series Dance Dance Remixes. Fresh from the franchise’s vibrant return, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. and the ever theatrical King of All Cosmos are adding reimagined music and a small parade of nostalgic accessories drawn from earlier adventures. As a bonus treat, every player receives a free Saki Hanami Cosplay Set for the Prince. The game continues to roll across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, while the new DLC is available as a separate purchase.

This debut pack pulls five energetic remixes from the EP Denonbu Katamarespect, created in collaboration with DEN ON BU. The collection transforms familiar favorites into fresh forms, including Ball of Love remixed by Shinpei Nasuno, Lonely Rolling Star by picco, Red Rose with Gun and Tonic by HARETOKIDOKI, Moon and Prince by Tatsunoshin, and Katamari On The Rocks by hirihiri. To go with the music, players can broaden their wardrobe with ten returning accessories, from the playful Licky Licky Candy to the soaring Flying Kite.

Once Upon A Katamari reimagines the series with a storybook journey through different eras, offering new stages and a lively competitive mode. Its soundtrack blends returning melodies with new compositions, while an upgraded toolkit adds handy features such as a magnet that gathers nearby objects. Players may roll into the adventure as the Prince or select one of sixty-eight cousins, each customizable with colors and expressive faces. These characters shine in KatamariBall, a four-player mode centered on gathering the largest possible Katamari before converting it into points. The mode supports online play and local matches against CPU rivals, adding a new layer to the series’ enduring charm.
