Start Your Skiing Journey in Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, the beloved co-op ski adventure that has already gathered more than a million players on Steam and Xbox Game Pass, is heading to PlayStation 5 on December 3. The indie team at Megagon Studios brings their winter-soaked successor to Lonely Mountains: Downhill to Sony’s console with a full season of updates included. Players will find the Freestylers Update ready on day one, which introduces Trick Mode along with the expressive Free Style mode. The Highlanders DLC will also be available as a separate purchase for those who want even more terrain to explore.

Snow Riders invites you to breathe in the cold air and charge down sweeping slopes carved across vivid alpine landscapes. Each mountain becomes a playground of deep powder, frozen lakes, twisting paths, and sudden drops that send players soaring. The experience shifts gently between calm exploration and pulse-quickening descents, giving every run a sense of discovery.
Those who enjoy a challenge can chase score multipliers in Trick Mode. They can even climb the global leaderboards by shaving precious seconds off each path. Adventurous riders can hunt for hidden shortcuts tucked between cliffs and forests. The PS5 version also folds in online multiplayer, offering co-operative descents and competitive races. It supports crossplay across multiple platforms and for up to eight players.
As you ride, new gear, outfits, and tricks unlock to add personality and flair to every descent. Snow Riders continues the spirit of Lonely Mountains: Downhill while shaping its own identity through snow-drifted terrain and new creative modes, offering both fresh challenges and peaceful moments for players ready to carve their own line through the mountains.
