Grab Your Copy of Resident Evil Requiem
Resident Evil Requiem is closing out the spooky season with terrifying style, as Capcom officially opens pre-orders across all major platforms, including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and for the first time, the Epic Games Store. The game launches on February 27, 2026, and players who pre-order will receive Grace’s gritty “Apocalypse” costume as a bonus reward.
Additionally, the recent “Road to Requiem” broadcast, hosted by Maggie Robertson, the voice of Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village, revisited the franchise’s dark legacy, tracing its roots back to the 1998 Raccoon City Incident. The event celebrated decades of survival horror while teasing new details about the upcoming chapter in the series. You can check it out for yourself right below.
Resident Evil Requiem will release in two versions: the Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition featuring the base game along with five character costumes, four weapon skins, two visual filters, and two weapon charms. Capcom also announced a special collaboration with Fortnite to mark its arrival on the Epic Games Store. Players who purchase the game there will later receive exclusive Resident Evil-themed Fortnite items, including a Grace outfit.
Nintendo fans can look forward to the limited edition Resident Evil Requiem Pro Controller for the Switch 2, styled in a dark, gunmetal-inspired finish, available at launch. In another first for the series, protagonist Grace will be immortalized as an amiibo, arriving in Summer 2026.
Capcom also teased a new Resident Evil Showcase premiering early next year, offering a closer look at Requiem’s gameplay and story. For collectors, the Premium Steelbook Edition will include the full game, all Deluxe content, and a lenticular card available only while supplies last.
