Prepare to Drive Over the Hill
Funselektor and Strelka Games have revealed that Over the Hill, the upcoming ambient off-road exploration title from the creator of Art of Rally, is expanding its journey to consoles. The game, which has already amassed over 600,000 wishlists on Steam, will now release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 alongside its PC launch in 2026. Players can wishlist the game on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, while pre-purchases for the Nintendo eShop will be available soon.
The ID@Xbox Fall 2025 Showcase recently featured a new trailer that highlighted the game’s serene landscapes and minimalist charm, giving fans a fresh look at the studio’s latest creation.
In addition to digital releases, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 players will have the chance to secure physical editions produced in collaboration with Serenity Forge. The Premium Standard Edition includes a physical copy of the game, a window cling decoration, and the original digital soundtrack.
For collectors, the more elaborate Collector’s Edition offers a range of themed items, including a rocking dashboard car standee, embroidered patch, lanyard keychain, winched collar pin, and a vehicle poster, along with the same window cling decoration and physical game.
According to Funselektor and Strelka Games, this edition was designed as a tribute to the spirit of off-road exploration, with every collectible meant to feel like a memento from a past journey. From the enamel winch pin to the motion-inspired car standee, each item embodies the game’s sense of quiet adventure.
Over the Hill will be available on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
