INGAME STUDIOS and 505 Games have rolled out Update 18 for their crime-based shooter, Crime Boss: Rockay City. This latest update adds a fiery new mission, gameplay tweaks, and major improvements as part of the ongoing 2025 roadmap. The highlight is Afterburner, a high-powered bank heist that gives players access to a decommissioned jet engine, the perfect tool for melting through vault doors and stealing unimaginable riches. It is business as usual in the chaos-filled streets of Rockay City.
Beyond the headline mission, Update 18 expands the game’s roguelite progression with thirteen new Elite Boss Bonuses, offering players more ways to refine their mastery. The update also enhances the Character Wheel, now displaying additional information about bots and teammates for both hosts and clients. Players will also benefit from clearer stealth strike indicators on the HUD, showing exactly what triggered detection.
The patch delivers several key gameplay refinements as well. The developers have rebalanced roguelite bosses to improve challenge and pacing, and they now provide immediate feedback for failed clean executions or strikes.
