A Huge Milestone for Nivalis Nights
Nivalis Nights is already making a serious name for itself before launch, with the neon-drenched cyberpunk life sim officially surpassing 1 million wishlists on Steam. Publisher 505 Games and developer ION LANDS announced the milestone ahead of the game’s September 29 release. The upcoming title comes from the team behind Cloudpunk and takes players back to the futuristic city of Nivalis, but this time, they get to build a life of their own.
Reaching 1 million wishlists is a huge moment for the independent studio. Marko Dieckmann, Creative Director at ION LANDS, admitted that the team never expected to hit the milestone. He also pointed out that Cloudpunk launched with around 130,000 wishlists, making Nivalis Nights’ current numbers an especially impressive achievement for the studio.

The game mixes the relaxing freedom of a life sim with the unmistakable atmosphere of a cyberpunk metropolis. Players can start small by running a humble noodle stand or nightclub and gradually turn it into a thriving business. When they aren’t working, they can explore Nivalis, meet its eccentric residents, go fishing, decorate their homes, or simply take in the city’s towering neon skyline.
With 1 million players already showing interest, Nivalis Nights has plenty of attention heading into launch. Now, all that’s left is to see whether its vibrant take on cyberpunk life can live up to the hype when it arrives on September 29.
