Fulfill Your Destiny in SWAPMEAT
Indie studio One More Game has confirmed that its anticipated co-op roguelite shooter, SWAPMEAT, will host a dedicated Latin American Meat Lab playtest from September 18 to 21. Although designed with Latin American players in mind, the event is open to anyone eager to dive into the game’s unusual premise of swapping alien body parts to gain their abilities.
Available in both Spanish and Portuguese, this special test invites players to join the ranks of Rangus Meats as Meat Scientists, experimenting with a wide range of bizarre alien limbs and features. Participants will also get an early look at redesigned progression systems, multiplayer respawns, Hunters, experimental weapons, and other new features. The developers hope the feedback collected will help refine the experience ahead of the official Early Access release.
SWAPMEAT will launch in October 2025 for PC and macOS via Steam Early Access. Players can secure their place in the upcoming test by adding the game to their Steam wishlist or signing up through playSWAPMEAT.com. Top performers during any Meat Lab playtest will earn an exclusive Meat Scientist Cosmetic Set, a unique reward available only before the Early Access period begins.
One More Game describes the game as squishy yet surprisingly deep, promising a blend of humor, strategy, and chaotic action. The studio emphasized that each playtest is part of an ongoing effort to shape the game alongside its growing community. Future announcements will reveal more about what is next for SWAPMEAT, but for now, the Latin American Meat Lab offers players a chance to experiment, provide input, and help perfect this offbeat shooter before its global debut.
