Enter a Bleached Sacred Forest in Mistfall Hunter
Bellring Games has unveiled an exciting new chapter for Mistfall Hunter at the Tokyo Game Show, introducing the upcoming map, Solemn Needles. Set in a bleached, sacred forest, Solemn Needles promises players encounters with the Divine Anchor, a relic whose lingering power draws enemies, and the eerie expanse of Hastine’s Fall, where the corpse of a giant radiates residual divine energy. Adventurers will also explore the mysterious Witchery Woods before facing the looming threat of a false god. The developer offered a first look at these locations during an exclusive broadcast at the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025.
The announcement comes as Beta 3 of Mistfall Hunter concludes on September 26, a period that saw 120,000 Gyldhunters joining the hunt. Players experimented with the game’s diverse class lineup, with Shadowstrix emerging as the fan favorite. During the beta, hunters unlocked new customization options, defeated 23 million enemies, and 7,409 players successfully took down the Mist Lord, General Harald. Bellring Games expressed gratitude to the community for their participation and feedback, highlighting the role players have in shaping the game’s future.
Mistfall Hunter invites players into a world scarred by the war between the Gods and the Outer Gods, where the blood of these titanic battles birthed the Gyldenmist, spreading madness and decay. Civilization has fallen, but hope endures in the form of Dew, a fragment of the Fate Goddess’s soul, granting immortal flesh to fallen heroes. Players rise as these resurrected warriors, mastering deadly combos and strategic skills, facing monstrous creatures and rival hunters alike. Along the way, they will claim powerful relics, uncover long-forgotten truths, and fight to survive before the Gyldenmist consumes everything.
The full release of Mistfall Hunter, including Solemn Needles, will be available on Steam, Xbox, and the Microsoft Store.
