Hello Kitty Skyland Brings Sanrio to VR With a Closed Beta Test Later This Month

Welcome to Hello Kitty Skyland

Thirdverse has announced that its highly anticipated social VR game Hello Kitty Skyland will soon begin a Closed Beta Test. The developers will launch the test later this month and confirm the exact dates through the official Discord channel. It will be available on Meta Quest 2, 3, and 3S. However, only 500 participants will be selected from applications submitted via Discord. If demand exceeds capacity, a lottery system will determine who gets access, and successful applicants will be notified by email.

The Closed Beta will give players an early opportunity to explore the heart of Hello Kitty Skyland. Testers will engage with the game’s core multiplayer systems and try out various gameplay loops. Then they can share feedback on controls, user experience, and overall design to help refine the game. This stage will help shape the final version of the game before its full release.

Masaru Ohnogi expressed his excitement for the milestone, noting, “We are thrilled to let Sanrio fans and VR gamers experience the world of Hello Kitty Skyland ahead of release. All feedback will help us craft a world that will be loved by many.”

At its core, the game offers a fresh take on the beloved Sanrio universe, inviting players into the whimsical world of SKYLAND. Here, they can meet and interact with Hello Kitty and her friends in fully immersive VR settings. The game emphasizes social play, allowing users to craft items, customize avatars and personal spaces, and collaborate or compete with others. By combining creativity, interaction, and VR technology, the experience promises to expand the charm of Hello Kitty into an innovative new frontier.
