Dino Topia Changed Its Name to Dinotica

Tame the Dinosaurs in Dinotica

Celestial Studio and XA Studio have revealed that their game, formerly known as Dino Topia, will now be called Dinotica. The developers explained that the new title, introduced shortly after the game’s Early Access launch on Steam, better captures the spirit of their project. They believe it reflects the heart of the world they have created, offering players a truer glimpse into their original vision.

Dinotica is a sandbox roguelike adventure where players bond with dinosaurs while rebuilding a settlement lost to ancient beasts. The game blends farming, combat, exploration, and companionship, offering both solo and cooperative play. Players can team up with friends or face the wilderness alone as they hatch dinosaur companions, cultivate crops, and defend their home against ferocious creatures in bullet hell inspired battles.

Life in Dinotica revolves around creating a thriving settlement. Players gather resources to expand and customize their farms, while they cultivate crops with the help of loyal dinosaur partners. They breed and hatch more than forty dinosaur species, each offering unique abilities, traits, and color variations to discover. Players also shape combat dynamically by crafting 39 totems and 70 relics to create personalized fighting styles and strengthen their dino allies.

Beyond farming and combat, the world of Dinotica invites exploration. Players can delve into perilous dungeons filled with rare materials, new allies, and fearsome foes. With four diverse environments, multiple difficulty levels, and sixty bosses to conquer, the challenges remain ever-changing.

Whether building alone or raising dinosaurs with a friend through local multiplayer and remote play, Dinotica offers endless possibilities. Players eager to begin their journey can jump into the Early Access version now and add the game to their Steam wishlist.
