Celestial Studio has released the highly anticipated Dino Topia Frontier Demo on Steam, inviting players to step into a vibrant prehistoric world once again. Following the success of the recent closed beta, the new demo includes a wave of improvements and fresh features based on player feedback. It is a clean slate, as progress from the beta will not carry over, giving both new and returning dino tamers an even playing field.
In Dino Topia, players bond with dinosaur companions, farm, explore dungeons, and build thriving settlements. Among the biggest additions in this demo is Cunninga, a powerful new dino companion. With its heavy armor and boss-level strength, Cunninga offers both offensive might and defensive support, making it a game-changing ally.
Another major feature is the introduction of co-op play. Players can now team up locally or online to hatch eggs faster, gather resources more efficiently, and build shared settlements together, adding a new layer of collaboration to the game’s survival farming mix.
The team has also introduced a streamlined task system and refined UI, letting players manage their dinos with ease and focus more on exploration and combat. Meanwhile, the Star Raising System allows players to power up their prehistoric pals using duplicates, while new egg hatching improvements help reduce wait times.
Additional balance updates, such as reduced stamina drain and slower health loss, make the experience smoother and more enjoyable, especially during longer expeditions.
