A New Journey for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have unveiled Legacy of the Forge, the next story expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The announcement came out during the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2025. Furthermore, this DLC will arrive on September 9 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PS5 Pro, priced at $13.99.

The expansion continues Henry’s journey as he works toward becoming a master of Kuttenberg’s blacksmith guild. Returning to the historic mining town, players will take on the challenge of reviving a legendary forge once destroyed by fire. This forge carries deep personal ties, as Henry’s father, Martin, apprenticed there in his youth. As Henry rebuilds and hones his craft, he uncovers hidden chapters of his father’s life. All while carving out his own reputation as a blacksmith.
Legacy of the Forge introduces new blacksmithing mechanics, allowing Henry to craft swords, forge armor, and handle eccentric requests. With his growing prestige, players can expand beyond work at the anvil. A new home customization system offers over 136 million design possibilities, letting players personalize Henry’s forge, living quarters, and the surrounding property. Each choice balances beauty with function, influencing gameplay and gradually transforming the forge into a true home.
Alongside these features, the expansion adds fresh daily quests and new ways to earn coin, tying directly into Henry’s progression. For existing owners of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Gold Edition or Expansion Pass, the DLC will be included at no extra cost. The Gold Edition bundles the base game, Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, Expansion Pass, and the Shields of Season pack, granting full access to all story expansions.
With Legacy of the Forge, players will not only continue Henry’s tale but also shape a legacy that blends family history, craftsmanship, and homebuilding in medieval Bohemia.
