Denshattack! Brings Extreme Train Action to PC and Consoles in 2025

Master the Tricks in Denshattack!

Undercoders has teamed up with Fireshine Games to unleash Denshattack!, a futuristic twist on rail-riding action. Revealed during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, the game arrives early next year on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, launching day one on Game Pass.

Blending skateboarding flair with breakneck train travel, Denshattack! challenges players to master rail-hopping combos across more than 50 levels. From drifting on walls to soaring over vast chasms, the game thrives on speed, precision, and style. Boss encounters push the limits even further, rewarding daring players with new levels to conquer and skills to perfect.

The setting paints a stark vision of a dystopian Japan. While the wealthy live protected in domed cities powered by megacorporation Miraido’s VACTRAIN system, the rest are left to endure life in the abandoned wastelands. Here, a rebellious movement has rebuilt the derelict railways, transforming them into battlegrounds where underground gangs duel for territory and pride.

Behind the project is game director David Jaumandreu (NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound), joined by celebrated composer Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge). More guest musicians will join the soundtrack this fall through a collaboration with music label Kid Katana.

“Creating the world of Denshattack! has been a joy for the team,” said Jaumandreu. “Inspired by the art, culture and music of Japan, and, of course, our love of trains and skateboarding, Denshattack! is a project we’ve wanted to make for a long time, and we can’t wait for the world to experience what we’ve been building.”

Players will craft their own trick style, unlock upgrades, and rise as the best across Japan’s reclaimed railways. For a taste of its energy, fans can already listen to Tee Lopes’ new single, Densha ni notte ne! ~~電車に乗ってね!~~, featured in the trailer.
