Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Showcases New Mission and Upcoming DLC at Gamescom

Pre-order Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Now

Astragon Entertainment and developer weltenbauer. have revealed major updates for Firefighting Simulator: Ignite during this year’s gamescom. Visitors will be able to experience the game firsthand at the event, while a newly released gameplay walkthrough highlights the challenging mission “Heart of the City.” Alongside this, the first details of the upcoming Summer Camp DLC have been unveiled.

The “Heart of the City” mission takes players to Oakridge City’s bustling shopping mall, where a sudden fire breaks out in the middle of the day. With crowds still inside, the focus is on life-saving rescues. Players and their team must carry unconscious victims to safety and help stranded civilians escape from the roof. The fire itself poses a major threat, fueled by both electrical and grease sources that require different firefighting strategies. This mission underlines the game’s mix of tactical decision-making and high-pressure teamwork.

Looking ahead, the Summer Camp DLC introduces a fresh environment complete with new missions. Set around a large lake and rustic cabins, the camp is normally a place of fun and relaxation for kids and teenagers. In emergencies, however, players must act quickly to contain spreading fires and protect those in danger. The DLC is set to launch in Q4 2025 and comes as part of the Year 1 Season Pass, included in the Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Year 1 Edition, now available for pre-order.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite launches on September 9, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are open on all platforms, with the Fire Station Companion Pack offered as a bonus.
