Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids Is Out Now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S

Command Your Army in Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids

Arc Games and Snapshot Games have officially launched Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, a colorful new action-strategy title from Julian Gollop, the creator of XCOM. The game is available now on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, priced at £24.99. To mark its release, players can pick it up at a 10% discount on all platforms until September 2.

Chip ‘n Clawz mixes fast-paced third-person combat with real-time strategy, challenging players to battle against the Brainioids, quirky brain-in-a-jar invaders, in a world inspired by classic Saturday morning cartoons and retro comic books. Players gather Brainium crystals, build bases, and command armies, all while stepping directly into the fight as the game’s heroes. This combination of tactical decision-making and hands-on action allows players to switch between planning and battling, creating a balance that appeals to both seasoned strategists and newcomers.

The game offers multiple ways to play. It supports solo adventures, online co-op, split-screen couch co-op, and competitive PvP. To make multiplayer even more accessible, a Friends Pass is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, enabling players to team up or face off online with a friend who does not own the game.

Julian Gollop, CEO of Snapshot Games, described the team’s vision: “With Chip ’n Clawz vs. the Brainoids, we created a game that feels just as rewarding for a veteran of real-time strategy games as it does for someone completely new to the genre. Whether someone wants to charge straight into a fight or plot from afar, we built an experience where everyone and anyone can jump in, find their style, and have fun.”
