Get Ready for Resident Evil Survival Unit
Aniplex Inc. has officially announced Resident Evil Survival Unit, a mobile strategy game created in collaboration with JOYCITY Corporation. Drawing inspiration from Capcom’s legendary Resident Evil series, the developers aim to blend tactical gameplay with the atmosphere and lore of the survival horror franchise. Capcom is actively involved in the project to ensure authenticity and maintain the series’ signature quality.
Resident Evil Survival Unit transforms the familiar world of survival horror into a real-time strategy experience. It will be available exclusively on mobile devices. Players will command units, make split-second decisions, and engage in strategic battles against infected threats. The game will be available on both iOS and Android, with an interface and mechanics tailored for mobile play.
Aniplex and JOYCITY designed the game to appeal to both longtime fans of Resident Evil. As well as newcomers discovering the universe for the first time. By combining fast-paced strategy with classic elements from the franchise, the developers hope to offer a fresh and engaging way to experience the iconic world.
The game will launch globally, with a simultaneous release planned for Japan, South Korea, North America, Europe, and other regions across Asia.
