Start Your Engine in Old School Rally
Astrolabe Games has confirmed that Old School Rally will launch its full version this holiday season. After its successful run in Early Access, the game will arrive on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
To build excitement ahead of the full release, Astrolabe Games will launch a brand new demo for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on July 10. This demo gives console players their first opportunity to experience the game’s nostalgic visuals, fast-paced driving, and classic rally racing feel. Alongside the demo, a new trailer has been released to showcase what players can expect in the complete version.
Old School Rally has earned a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, backed by over 1,100 user reviews. Players have praised its faithful recreation of the golden era of rally racing, noting its tight controls, distinctive art style, and satisfying gameplay. With the full release, the development team aims to expand the experience significantly. The game will include more than 30 cars, over 22 race tracks, and special stages set across 10 different countries. Players will also be able to unlock nearly 50 customization items to enhance their vehicles and racing experience.
In addition to the expanded content, Astrolabe Games has implemented several key updates to improve gameplay, performance, and overall polish. The full version will also feature a high-octane soundtrack with over 30 original tracks, reinforcing the game’s retro atmosphere.
Physical editions of the game are currently in production, with plans to distribute them in major regions worldwide. With its blend of classic rally charm, robust content, and modern polish, Old School Rally is gearing up to deliver a complete and thrilling racing experience this holiday season.
