Kaho Shibuya Joins the Fight in New Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate DLC

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate Is Currently on Sale

Rocket Panda Games has announced an exciting new addition to Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate. A brand new DLC is on the way, featuring real-life Japanese pop culture figure and cosplayer Kaho Shibuya as a fully playable character. The DLC will launch soon across PC and consoles.

In this new content, Kaho transforms into a magical girl with the power of bread and justice. She takes on enemies with a freshly baked moveset, flinging baguette blasts, chaining croissant combos, and serving up chaos with every step. Her character brings a fun, over-the-top energy to the game’s fast-paced brawling action.

The DLC introduces more than just Kaho. Players will receive a new stage set in a fictional version of Los Angeles, decorated for Anime Expo season. The cityscape comes alive with references to anime culture and features four new enemy mobs to battle. Rocket Panda Games also adds real-world flavor with in-game cameos from LA’s popular food truck, Okamoto Kitchen, and Japan’s Latte Pocket, known for its creative 3D latte art.

To mark the occasion, Japanese girl band The Phantom Breakers will release an original track titled “WISH” featuring vocals by Kaho Shibuya herself. The song will debut on all major streaming platforms alongside the DLC release, adding a musical flair to the celebration.

For the first time, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate will go on sale across all major digital storefronts. The Kaho Shibuya DLC will be available soon on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, giving fans everywhere a reason to jump back into the action.
