Crazy Goat Games Has Officially Announced Tamer Town

Bond With Your Monsters In Tamer Town

Crazy Goat Games, the indie studio known for dark fantasy adventures like Pirate Republic and tales of cosmic horror, is shifting gears with a refreshing new project: Tamer Town. This upcoming title blends monster cultivation with thoughtful city building in a heartwarming, strategic package.

In Tamer Town, players will collect, raise, and live alongside over 130 unique creatures known as Mokitons. Each Mokiton features distinct personalities, traits, and evolution paths. But these monsters aren’t just for battling—they are essential members of the community. Mokitons can take on professions that align with their abilities, powering buildings, gathering resources, improving output, and even balancing the elemental harmony of different city zones. Their happiness directly impacts how smoothly the city runs.

Unlike traditional monster games focused on combat, Tamer Town emphasizes coexistence, logistics, and long-term planning. According to the developers, it is a game about “finding harmony between people, towns, and monsters,” without overwhelming players with heavy micromanagement.

Crazy Goat Games describes the game as a warm departure from its earlier, darker titles, offering a cozy yet deep strategy experience that retains the complexity of resource systems while creating a more inviting world.

Tamer Town is set to launch in Early Access on Steam in Q2 2026. It will also come out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2 in Q1 2027.
