Smalland 2: Lost Realms Officially Announced for PC and Consoles

Step Inside the Miniature World Once Again in Smalland 2: Lost Realms

Maximum Entertainment has officially revealed Smalland 2: Lost Realms, marking the next chapter in its miniature-scale open-world survival series. The new title builds on the foundation of Smalland: Survive the Wilds, bringing a larger world, deeper progression, and expanded gameplay systems.

Set long before the events of the original game, Lost Realms takes players to a mythical age before the arrival of the Giants. This prequel introduces a vast, unexplored world full of elemental creatures, ancient ruins, and forgotten civilizations. Players will once again step into the role of the Smallfolk, tasked with uncovering hidden truths and facing a looming prophecy that threatens the future of their world.

The sequel is bringing several new gameplay features, including an overhauled crafting system, improved water traversal, and enhanced climbing mechanics. Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game also promises more detailed environments and richer visual effects. Creature companionship plays a bigger role this time, allowing players to tame and bond with various species that offer unique abilities throughout the journey.

Multiplayer remains a key focus, with support for up to 10 players working together to build outposts, establish trade routes, and create thriving networks across diverse regions.

Smalland 2: Lost Realms is set to launch later this year on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for 2027. Overall, it looks like a confident step forward for the series, expanding its scale while staying true to what made the original unique.
