Start the Race in Asphalt Legends Unite
Gameloft and Formula E have officially brought the GEN3 Evo race car, the world’s fastest accelerating and most efficient single-seater, to Asphalt Legends Unite, marking its first virtual appearance in a racing game.
Between May 29 and June 11, over 593,000 players participated in a global Time-Limited Event focused on the GEN3 Evo. Players backed one of four official teams: Jaguar TCS Racing, TAG Heuer Porsche, Andretti Formula E, or Nissan Formula E. After analyzing the top 100 fastest racers, Andretti emerged as the most-used team, earning the spotlight in future events.
A new Grand Prix event runs from July 10 to 24, inviting players into a structured play-to-unlock competition. Following a training phase, players will be sorted into heats of 20 based on qualifying times. The top racers in each group will unlock the GEN3 Evo for their garage, featuring its official Championship Livery.
Unveiled in Formula E’s Season 11, the GEN3 Evo redefines electric motorsport performance. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.82 seconds, 30 percent faster than current Formula 1 cars. The car incorporates sustainable innovations, including recycled carbon fiber and tires made with 38 percent sustainable materials.
From July 24 to 30, the final Time-Limited Event will spotlight Andretti once more, offering their team livery to all participants. Coinciding with the Formula E Season 11 finale in London, fans attending the event on July 26 and 27 can try Asphalt Legends Unite for free at the Formula E Gaming Arena.
