Save the World in Voidsayer
SGO Studios, in collaboration with independent publishing platform indie.io, has announced the upcoming launch of Voidsayer, a turn-based tactical RPG set to release on Steam on June 2. The launch will coincide with Turn-Based Thursday Fest, a weeklong celebration of turn-based games.
Voidsayer drops players into a haunting, decaying world consumed by the Abyss, a malevolent force reshaping reality. As a Seeker, one of the last humans capable of binding creatures born of the void, players must explore a procedurally generated landscape, uncover lost knowledge, and battle grotesque enemies that lurk in the dark.
The game blends monster-taming with deep tactical combat. With over 100 unique monsters to collect, evolve, and fuse, each battle becomes a test of strategy. Elemental affinities, status effects, terrain manipulation, and powerful ultimate abilities add complexity to every encounter. Players are encouraged to experiment, adapt, and develop their own synergies to survive the escalating dangers of the Abyss.
Between expeditions, players can rebuild and upgrade their shattered settlement. New facilities unlock valuable upgrades, rituals, and resources that shape future runs. The choices made, whether in combat or camp, affect how the story unfolds and how players confront the creeping void.
Voidsayer pairs its layered systems with a distinct, brooding art style and offers a fresh take on monster-taming for fans of dark fantasy and thoughtful strategy. It promises a challenging, evolving experience with each playthrough.
