Stop the Time Loop in Kejora
Indonesian indie game Kejora is set to launch on PC via Steam on 4th September 2025. The release date was first revealed during the Six One Indie Showcase on 22nd May 2025, where the title stood out as a highlight of the event.
Developed by Berangin Creative and published by Soft Source, Kejora follows a young girl and her two close friends as they attempt to uncover the origins of a strange time loop affecting their village. Players will journey through eerie forests, forgotten ruins, and hidden caves. All while solving puzzles and confronting strange forces that threaten their world.
Originally announced in 2021, Kejora has gone through significant creative changes. Since 2023, the game has fully embraced a narrative puzzle adventure format, while retaining its signature feature: hand-drawn visuals. Inspired by the storytelling style and animation of Studio Ghibli, the game blends rich visual detail with Southeast Asian influences, offering a unique aesthetic that sets it apart.
In Kejora, teamwork plays a central role. Each of Kejora’s companions brings unique abilities that help in solving puzzles and navigating the game’s challenges. Together, the trio explores a world full of mysteries, ancient structures, and lurking dangers.
With its artful animation and heartfelt storytelling, Kejora invites players to dive into a world both beautiful and unsettling. The game will be available digitally for PC via Steam, with plans for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms to follow. It is available for wishlist now on Steam.
