Atomfall Blasts To Over 1 Million Players

Atomfall Hits a Nuclear Achievement

It would seem the post-apocalypse is getting pretty popular. In fact, it’s become so popular in just a week since the nuclear incident. Of course, hitting over a million players is a great milestone for any game, but hitting it in just a week is impressive. Today,  Rebellion is happy to announce that their new UK-based post-apocalyptic survival-action game, Atomfall, has surpassed 1 million players. Inviting players to a world inspired by real events, a Windscale nuclear incident in the 1950s, the game has been a hit. Importantly, a press release provides more details. Additionally, the release provides insights from Jason Kingsley CBE, CEO and co-founder of Rebellion.

Atomfall

Atomfall reaching over 1 million players has quickly become the most successful launch in Rebellion’s history. Interestingly the action-survival game has enthralled players with its cast of quirky characters, and realistic setting. Obviously, the milestone is a big deal, and Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley takes a great deal of pride in the performance of the game.

“We are delighted that so many players are enjoying Atomfall,” says Kingsley, “To have surpassed the 1 million players in such a short space of time speaks volumes for the creativity and dedication of the entire team here at Rebellion. Our size and stability mean that we can take risks to create something as different as Atomfall. Happily, that risk is paying off.”

Importantly, players can get a glimpse of the game and what critics are saying in the accolades trailer. Check it out below.

Atomfall is out now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
