Mirthwood Is Almost Here
Bad Ridge Games and V Publishing have unveiled the development roadmap for their upcoming title, Mirthwood. This roadmap provides information on the updates that await players in the coming months. This enchanting open-world RPG life sim will be launching on PC via Steam on 11 September as well, so make sure to mark your calendars right now.
The Mirthwood team has shared a fun roadmap packed with exciting updates! Players can expect cool new features like fishing, companions, seasonal events, and even creating families. Plus, the game is adding co-op multiplayer, so you can team up with friends to explore and tackle quests together.
Roadmap Notes:
– September: Mirthwood gets a foundational polish with hotfixes, patches, performance optimization, Steam Achievements, and additional controller support.
– October:Â Fish Are Friends Update 1.1Â introduces fishing, new Player Housing Upgrades, Companions, an NPC relationship tracker, and Social Actions.
– November: Death and Taxes Update 1.2Â brings new Funeral Events, Quests, Ailments, and Generated Quests.
– December:Â The Feast and Festivities Update 1.3Â features timed festivals, seasonal content (Christmas), new World Events, crops, cooking recipes, and Steam Deck Verified Support.
– Q1 2025: The Baby Boom Update adds marriage, dedicated ceremonies, player-created children, inherited abilities, and the option to play as your child upon your death.
– Q2 2025 Onwards: Expansion and Community Update includes Co-op Multiplayer, Modding Support, Steam Workshop, and the first DLC expansion.
