Let’s Rack and Slay
The indie developer Ludokultur and publisher 2 Left Thumbs have announced the release date for their upcoming title Rack and Slay. It will be coming out on PC via Steam on 27 May 2024 for a standard price of $5.99 (there will be a launch discount as well). Furthermore, a demo is already out on the platform for everyone to try out before its official release.
Rack and Slay is a unique roguelike dungeon crawler with innovative mechanics. You play as a billiard ball and push monster balls into holes or traps in randomly generated levels. There is a large variety of over 100 stackable items that have different in-game effects. You can find the best combo to craft your synergies that suit your playstyle.
Play through 20 levels with increasing difficulty, each one with even more challenging modifiers. You can enjoy the game at your own pace as it offers different game modes. Not only that, you can even track your progress not just tracked per difficulty and mode, but also through difficulty-specific badges. So, make sure to fill up your item compendium and collect them all.
