The anticipation is over guys! Developer Eremite Games and publisher Hooded Horse are delighted to announce that the release of free update 1.2 of Against the Storm. It was first teased as a part of Eremite Games’ 2024 roadmap and now it is finally here. This latest patch comes with brand-new content, including new Blight Post upgrades, new dialogue options, and a new Trends panel.
The freshly introduced Trends Panel becomes accessible right from the outset of the game, following the initial tutorial. Its purpose is to offer all players a more comprehensive insight into the status of their settlement. This addition aims to assist new players who may encounter instances where goods vanish inexplicably and to aid veterans in fine-tuning production efficiency. The Trends Panel is divided into four main sections: Goods, History, Recent, and Operations.
The Blight Post now features a fresh in-game model, along with additional upgrade tiers. This aims to enhance the efficiency of combating the Blight during advanced gameplay stages. Furthermore, the game has integrated a new Latin American Spanish localization option. The Supporter Pack also received an enhancement and now features a fresh 4K wallpaper alongside the incorporation of all World Event artwork, all at no additional charge.
Moreover, the game is currently running a 35% discount on Steam until March 21. It already managed to garner a 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on the platform with over 20,000 reviews. Against the Storm is also available on GOG, PC Game Pass, and Epic Games for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 / ¥3,980.
