Developer Serious Sim and publisher Saber Interactive are thrilled to announce the release date for their upcoming title Heading Out. It will be coming out on PC via Steam on 7 May 2024. Heading Out is a narrative-driven immersive driving game with roguelite elements. It takes huge inspiration from cult classic road movies like Thelma & Louise and Vanishing Point. You will embark on an emotional trip of discovery down the American highways with white-knuckle racing, strategy, and storytelling.
Get inside your car, grab the steering wheel, and choose your own route across various regions. Each trip offers a unique balance of high-speed chases and races, treacherous hazards, and challenges. There are different colorful characters to meet and stories to unfold, brought to life with stylish graphic novel visuals. Outrun everyone on your way and pursue your dream, while risking everything at the end of the road.
Every journey and decision that you take will define your story. Carefully plan out your route and resources in advance. Shape your own destiny, all the while engaging in adrenaline-pumping races.
