Arcade Archives JUNGLER Is Back in Action
It’s time to revisit the good old mazes. Hamster Corporation is delighted to announce that Arcade Archives JUNGLER is launching today on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It is the latest addition to their Arcade Archives series, which faithfully reproduces many classic masterpieces.
JUNGLER is an action game from KONAMI that came out in 1981. You will play as a snake-like creature and defeat other enemies wandering around the maze-like stages. If you hit their tail, their body will become shorter.
The only way to defeat them is to either erase their entire body with a shot. Or hit your head against the head of the enemy that is the same length or shorter than you. Not only that but there is also a “strawberry” power-up that increases the body by one length. You can even enjoy it with a friend in the multiplayer mode.
As usual, the game will be available digitally on the PS Store and Nintendo eShop for $7.99. And just like any other game in the series, it uses the Japanese ROM for the main part. The options menu and manual are available in Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
