West Hunt Draws Guns on Switch in February

Welcome to Social Deduction West

Beware sheriff, there’s some outlaws amongst the townsfolk. Yet, you better hope that you can fill them with lead before it’s to late. However, the bandits won’t go easily, they are hiding in plain sight. Let the manhunt begin. Today, developer NewGen alongside publisher Wandering Wizard are excited to announce that their social deduction game, West Hunt, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 8th. Unleashing outlaws into a small old west town, players either assume the role of sheriffs or outlaws. Both have their own goals. Yet, deceit is a major part of the game.

West Hunt

West Hunt introduces players to an old western town, home to all manner of cowboy tropes and olden-timey people. In either 1v1 or 3v3 game modes, players must work as either the townsfolk or t he outlaws. As townsfolk sheriffs, players will need to deduce who the outlaws are. Of course, there is a catch. The outlaws are hidden amongst the townsfolk, blending in. As the outlaws, players will need to cause havoc while hiding from the long arm of the law. Yet, the West Hunt sheriffs will have clues scattered throughout the town randomly to even up the game. Additionally, the game allows for voice chat so that outlaws can taunt the sheriffs as they close in, or lose the trail far away. Furthermore, cross-play will allow PC players to play with their Switch counterparts and enjoy the game together.
