Ultros Goes Out of This World In New Trailer

An Alien Experience 

It’s almost time to get a little more colorful. Yet, a lot more alien. It’s time to be swept up in the kaleidoscopic adventure of a lifetime. Today, Indie developer Hadoque is excited to reveal a new trailer for their upcoming platformer, Ultros. Releasing on February 13th for the PlayStation 4, 5, and PC via Steam, the game invites players to a colorful and deadly world. Exploring cycles of life and death, the game allows players to explore a strange world full of alien life and dangers unknown. Of course, the new trailer for the game gives players a look at what they can expect from the Metroidvania. 

Ultros introduces players to The Sarcophagus. Players will find themselves on this strange cosmic incubator, home to the demon Ultros, after they crash land their ship. Now, it seems there is no way out. The entire Sarcophagus floats within a time-loop caused by its proximity to a black hole. Importantly, players will need to explore this strange and alien world, searching for any possible way to escape. Of course, being a Metroidvania, the game will allow players to explore as a sidescrolling platformer. Yet, there are many areas to adventure through. However, they won’t be alone. Players can encounter many denizens of the world. Some may be helpful, while others will seek your death. Have no fear. You are armed with your blade that will allow you to engage in frantic close quarters fights with anything that seeks to harm you.
