DEKLAZON has released a brand-new story trailer for their upcoming title They Are Here: Alien Abduction Horror. It is a first-person horror game that takes huge inspiration from movies like Signs, Dark Skies, The Gracefield Incident, The X-Files, War of the Worlds, and more.
It is coming out on Steam sometime this year. Moreover, a demo version is already available on the platform for everyone to try out.
They Are Here: Alien Abduction Horror follows the story of a journalist named Taylor Fox. A farmer named Peter Sherman contacted him regarding strange phenomena at Graywood farm. Despite arranging a meeting, Tyler found no one when he reached Peter’s place. From a note, He found out that Megan, the farmer’s daughter, had gone missing.
To make things worse, Susan, the farmer’s wife, started behaving strangely, as if someone was controlling her like a puppet. All the animals on the farm also fell ill due to some unknown parasite. Later, he found the existence of a secret military complex near the farm, unknown to everyone.
The Sherman family was under surveillance by the military for a long time. An unsettling incident occurred at this location 30 years ago, triggering a series of unexplainable events. Now, even Tyler senses that someone is also keeping a watchful eye on him.
The game follows a classic, linear, plot-centered narrative. You must investigate the area, search for artifacts, read notes and documents, and examine photos, video, and audio tapes. There are tools as well such as a flashlight, walkie-talkies, a camera, and video equipment to record evidence.
