The Cub Enters the End of The World

Alive Amidst the Ruins

Earth as we know it today is gone. The ruins of civilization are all that remain to tell the story of the human race. Or so it would appear. Yet, something stirs amidst the rubble. Maybe humanity isn’t quite gone. Not yet. Today, Demagog Studio and Untold Tales are joyed to announce the release of their platform adventure game, The Cub. Inviting players to a world established earlier in Golf Club: Wasteland, the game allows players to get a deeper look at a world gone by. Combining adrenaline fueled chases with platforming exploration, the game provides an adventure that blends genres. A new trailer gives players a glimpse of the game.

The Cub introduces players to an earth that failed to save itself. Humanity’s constant wars, greed, and the natural disasters have left the Earth destroyed. In the last moments before the end, as doom closes in, the ultra-rich flee from the planet leaving the rest of humanity to its fate. Yet, not all of them died. Players will step into the role of one of the final human children left on the neon wasteland Earth has become. Upon returning from Mars and spotting the child, a hunt begins. Of course, the child won’t be caught so easily.

Importantly, the Cub allows players to take part in classic platforming action. Yet, the game also introduces intense chases that will have players frantically running through an apocalypse. Of course, players can check out the new launch trailer for a glimpse of the game. Additionally, players can get a glimpse of the unique art style of the game in the trailer. So, view the trailer below.

Of course, The Cub is out now on  PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch.
