Immortality Is Set to Release on PS5 Later This Month With Exciting New Features

Sam Barlow, the mastermind behind Her Story, is set to release Immortality on PS5 this month. The “interactive cinematic trilogy” promises an immersive experience with new haptic and controller speaker features. Priced at $19.99, it arrives on Sony’s console on January 23.

The title was originally launched in 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile, and will finally reach the PS5. Immortality unfolds the mysterious tale of vanished actress Marissa Marcel. The game allows players to utilize cinematic teleportation, exploring decades of movie history through footage from Marissa’s lost films.

The game’s critical acclaim, reflected in Metacritic scores of 87 (PC) and 88 (Xbox), and multiple award nominations, including the 19th BAFTA Games Awards and 23rd Game Developers Choice Awards, positions it as a must-play.
