Dustgrave Gets Exploring in New Developer Diary

Time to Get a Little Dusty

It’s time for a closer look at an ever-changing world. A world where history is waiting to be made, deeds are recorded, and actions affect the course of events. Of course, getting closer to this ever-changing world, learning to understand it, is always fun. Luckily, now you can. Today,  Publisher Digital Tribe and indie studio Innervoid Interactive are excited to give people a better look at the world of their upcoming sandbox RPG, Dustgrave. A new developer diary, titled “Dustgrave’s Stealth System”, delves into how characters can use stealth to interact with NPCs. In a world that has consequences, it is important to be sneaky when doing less than upstanding actions. A teaser trailer also provides players with a glimpse of the action.

Dustgrave

Dustgrave introduces players to the Dahlan Empire after its collapse. Here, strife runs rampant, and war, hunger, and plague are everywhere. However, the world is not without opportunities to make history. Of course, with opportunity comes challenge. Yet, there is some chances to avoid consequences if players can employ stealth. Importantly, Dustgrave includes a stealth mechanic that allows players to complete certain tasks without detection. For instance, players can thieve, assassinate, and more in stealth. However, getting caught in the view cone of an NPC will break stealth and maybe even get you in trouble. Additionally, like all things in the game, stealing has consequence. It’s better to hightail it out of an area after theft, because NPCs will soon notice things missing.

Of course, players can get a look at the game in the teaser trailer from some months ago. Check out the trailer below.

Dustgrave is currently in development and will release for PC via Steam.
