Super Bomberman R 2 Introduced a New Character in the Latest Update

Konami’s Super Bomberman R 2 landed on the Nintendo Switch this year in September, and since then it has had many small updates. However, the latest update is comparatively bigger and comes with a new character called ‘Luca Bright Bomber’. This character is based on the based on the main antagonist of Suikoden II, Luca Blight.

Additionally, this latest update (Version 1.3.0) is bringing a “Room Lobby” function to Private Matcha and other adjustments. Here’s the full rundown ( Thanks to Konami’s official website):

Contents

– Added a new character called “Luca Bright Bomber”.
– Room Lobby” function added to Private Match.
– Added the ability to continue playing with the same settings on the results screen of Private Match/Battle Offline.
– Added setting to omit waiting time when all players have completed character selection in Private Match.

Adjustments

– Private Match got adjusted so that users can enter a room during a battle.
– The maximum number of “Round Number” for Standard Battle Mode in Private Match/Battle Offline has changed to 99.
– Adjusted matching logic for Graded Match.
– Adjustment to prevent continuous Stun in battles.
– The Power Zone speed increased from 2 to 3.
– Bean Bomber’s skill “Jump” got adjusted so that it does not cross the Goal Shutter.
– The Gimmick’s “Exploding Floor” was adjusted to prevent it from crossing the Goal Shutter.
– Fixed other bugs
