Something’s Fishy
Something scaly is lurking beneath the water. Now, it is erupting from the depths and swarming the inky land. A new army is marching on the ink-based world, and this time, everyone is gonna get wet. Today, developer Yaza Games and Publisher Daedalic Entertainment are happy to announce the release of the new update for their strategy game, Inkulinati. The new update, titled “Tactical Swimming”, introduces a brand new army to the game in the form of fish. Of course, these undersea creatures are arriving with a host of new mechanics. A trailer for the update gives players an introduction to these fishy fiends.
Inkulinati introduces players to the titular order. These strange folk exist in a world of ink on a manuscript where they do constant battle. Interestingly, the members of this order include famous medieval characters like Dante for instance. Yet, they must help shape an army of drawings, magical ink creatures, to march against opposing armies. Interestingly, each type of army draws different kinds of beasts that use different mechanics to achieve victory.
Now, Inkulinati is bringing forth its newest army. The fish army has arrived and it is bringing new watery mechanics. Of course, being water-breathing creatures, the fish bring the water with them. This means other beasts are going to experience high water. The fish ensure puddles of water throughout the arena rise and offer a new strategic element. Importantly the fish, made up of spear, sword, and bow fish, are immune to damage in the water. Check out the fish below in the new trailer.
Inkulinati is currently out for PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch.
