A Grand Scale Decades in the MakingÂ
An award winning universe requires a great deal to exist. Of course, it’s always interesting to see how the details come together. As they say, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, and in this case “Rome” is a grand-strategy game. Today, Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing are going behind the scenes of their upcoming strategy game, Homeworld 3, in a documentary video. Inviting players to take a look at the key moments of the game’s development, the documentary gives more info on the development of the game’s art, music, and more. Importantly, the documentary is around twelve minutes long.Â
Homeworld 3 places players in the middle of an intergalactic mystery while political tensions rise. A threat known as the Anomaly has emerged causing the failure of the famous hyperspace gates. Of course, the game reintroduces players to the critically acclaimed universe of the first two games. As such, gamers can also look forward to the beloved tactical gameplay of the first games. For instance, players can take command of massive battleships, and squadrons of strike craft, as they battle over the ruins of ancient worlds. Additionally, interstellar phenomena such as asteroid storms, particle storms, and more add more to worry about.Â
