Capture Memories in the Star Named EOS
The indie game developer Silver Lining Studio and PLAYSIM have made a new announcement for The Star Named EOS. This upcoming game will be available on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in Spring 2024.
The Star Named EOS is a first-person narrative puzzle adventure game. It deals with photography and how it captures memories that take place in our lives. Players will explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles to unravel family mysteries and recreate photos to travel back in time and experience the moment that is inside them.
You will play as Dei, a young photographer following the footsteps of his absent mother. His mother spent most of her time traveling, so, the only way for Dei to connect with her is through the photos and letters she sent to him when he was a child. However, after noticing something peculiar in one of the pictures, Dei’s belief in his mother gets challenged. Now it is his turn to find out the truth, guided by a voice deep within him.
The Star Named EOS is a very relaxing and reflective game that you can enjoy at your own pace. It is the perfect example of a game with beautiful hand-animated visuals with narrative-focused puzzle mechanics. Check out the official trailer below.
