Remnant II DLC, The Awakened King, Launches Today

The One True King Awakens 

It’s time to jump back into the apocalypse as a new threat emerges. A sleeping tyrant is about to awaken and he is out for blood. Gather your friends and prepare for battle. Today, Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games are happy to announce the release of the new DLC for their third-person shooter survival game, Remnant II. The DLC, titled “The Awakened King”, is introducing a host of new content to the game. For instance, players can expect a new dungeon, a new area to explore, new equipment, and more. A teaser trailer provides players with a glimpse of what awaits them in the newest chapter of the game. Additionally, a press release provides insight from David Adams, President of Gunfire Games and Remnant II Game Director.

“All of us at Gunfire are blown away by our awesome community’s continued support and enthusiasm for REMNANT II,” Says Adams, “The Awakened King is the first
major expansion for Remnant II, bringing a new storyline and area within Losomn.” 

The Awakened King DLC is bringing a haul of new content to Remnant II. For instance, players can try out a brand-new archetype in the Ritualist. Additionally, players can experience a whole new storyline centering on the new area Losomn, that will highlight the poisoned mind of the King. Furthermore, players can equip their characters with new equipment to face a host of new bosses, creatures, and more.

Remnant II: The Awakened King is out now for PC, via Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The DLC is available for $9.99. Additionally, gamers can grab the base game for 30% through November 28th on Steam and Arc Games.
