The independent video game developer and publisher Overseer Games has announced their latest upcoming title Kaiserpunk. It is a city-builder game that takes place during the tumultuous times of World War I and World War II. The game will be available on PC via Steam sometime in 2024. Kaiserpunk welcomes its players in the ultimate city builder and grand strategy experience in an alternative 20th-century world. The game focuses on production management and logistics and challenges everyone to build and manage their own city-states. All the while expanding their influence across the globe.
Players will need to carefully make plans and execute them. This includes taking control of the morale of the citizens, organizing supply chains, and everything in between. The game features four different citizen classes, each with their own unique traits and specialties. Players must ensure to keep up their morale and poise themselves for economic and territorial expansion.
That is not the end of it, players will also need to keep an eye on the worldview. There are over 100 regions and they will need to manage their relations with others. They must strategically plan their commanders and deal with all the different terrains of each region.
Every choice that the players make can affect how the story unfolds in Kaiserpunk. There are multiple endings and branching stories that will offer a fresh experience in every playthrough.
