Heroic Deckbuilding
The best part of most games is the heroes. Having a hero drives the story and ensures someone is there to save the day. Now, what if you can build a whole team of them? Today NEOWIZ is excited to announce that their deckbuilding roguelike, Heroes Wanted, is out now on Steam Early Access. Inviting players to a unique deckbuilder, the game allows players to discover a mix of card and party-building mechanics all packaged in a roguelike. With a blend of strategy, decision-making, and turn-based combat, players will have a lot to learn to save the world. Of course, a release trailer gives players a glimpse of the game.
Heroes Wanted introduces players to Luca. Luca is a boy from a small village who stumbles upon the soul stone. However, this powerful artifact is sought after by the evil Demon King. Now, as Luca, players will need to adventure throughout the lands defeating demonic forces to save the world. Importantly, players will have the opportunity to build their very own deck in every run of the game. Yet, the game packs an extra nuance with the inclusion of elemental damage and card powers. For instance, an element like fire will do extra damage to earth monsters and water will harm fire.
The inclusion of elements and card powers, like counterattack, add an extra layer to Heroes Wanted.
