The publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Brian Wilson have announced that The Forest Cathedral is coming to PlayStation 5 on 31 October. Moreover, the game is currently available on Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The Forest Cathedral is a first-person environmental thriller game that takes place on a remote island. It is inspired by the events surrounding the real-life scientist Rachel Carson’s investigation of the harmful pesticides called DDT. The game is a reimaging of her book called Silent Spring.
You will play as Rachel and embark on a field research project on a mysterious island. While doing her duties, she came to realize that things are how they seem to be. She will steadily discover the horrific side effects of using pesticides using her wide range of technologies. The game is a mixture of 3D exploration and 2D platforming with so many puzzles to solve.
