Slender instilled fear throughout the world. An urban legend that became a massive hit in the video game realm. Now, a decade after he arrived, he returns, just in time for Halloween. Today, Blue Isle Studios is happy to announce the release of the 10-year anniversary upgrade for their atmospheric horror game, Slender: The Arrival. Out now on PC, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the anniversary edition of the game brings more content and revitalized graphics. A launch trailer provides a great look at all of the spine-chilling new details that have come with Slender’s return. 

Slender: The Arrival returns players to the horrific nightmare of Charlie Matheson’s father. Now, the game has been visually upgraded. With Unreal Engine 5, the game is more immersive than ever before, capturing the true intensity and fear that only Slender can bring. Of course, visual updates aren’t the only thing coming with the anniversary edition. The new versions are bringing even more Slender with an entirely new chapter. This chapter, titled “Nightmare” sees players dive even further into madness. 

Of course, Slender: The Arrival now uses Unreal Engine 5. This means every shadow, every drop of rain, every nightmarish quality, is even more realistic.
