Roots of Pacha Goes Stone Age in November

Planting Roots

It’s almost time to start banging rocks together and advancing the tribe. Of course, it’s going to take a lot of work. Farming, exploration, and invention are all incredibly important aspects of life here in the Stone Age. Today,  Soda Den is happy to announce the release date for their co-op farming and life sim game, Roots of Pacha. Releasing on November 28th on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5, the game invites players to join a clan of cavepeople, known as the Pacha Clan, and help them create a thriving civilization. The game has already garnered popularity on Steam with over 100,000 all-time players. However, those who haven’t played the game yet can get a look at it in the announcement trailer.

Roots of Pacha

Roots of Pacha allows players to develop their own Stone Age farm. Playing as a member of the Pacha clan undergoing the Rite of Passage into adulthood, players are of age to help the Clan. Importantly, this means players will be responsible for collecting resources, constructing devices, and more. Interestingly, the game had been developed as a non-violent experience. This means players won’t need to worry about hostile creatures. Instead, members of the clan live in harmony with the flora and fauna of the world.

Of course, players can choose to go it alone or group up with three others. Importantly, Roots of Pacha will allow these groups to explore forests and deep caves as they develop the clan. Check out the announcement trailer for a look at the caveman world. View the trailer below.

Roots of Pacha will be released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5 on November 28th. Additionally, the game is fully releasing on Steam for PC the same day. Furthermore, the Xbox versions for the game are coming in 2024.
