Psychedelic PlatformingÂ
Prepare to return to the gardens of color and sound. A swirling world of colors and platforming awaits. Meditation, music, and adventure await. Either alone, or together, the garden holds many sights and wonders to be seen. Today, Q-Games is happy to announce a new demo for their upcoming psychedelic platformer game, Pixeljunk Eden 2. Out now for Steam Next Fest, the new demo gives players a look at the iconic meditative platforming experience of the game. In fact, players can directly see the swirling colors of music in the demo and learn to swing throughout the gardens. A press release provides details on the game and the demo. Additionally, players can check out the announcement trailer for the game from some months ago for a look at the gameplay.Â
Pixeljunk Eden 2 invites players back to the beautiful, hypnotic, gardens of Eden. Players take on the role of Grimps, looking to cultivate plants throughout the gardens as they swing and swirl throughout the different areas. Importantly, the gardens change based on the actions players take during gameplay. In fact, as players choose what seeds to plant, and which new plants to grow, the gardens will begin to change shape. For instance, new traversal paths will open up, colors will swirl and change, and life will be restored.Â
Interestingly, Pixeljunk Eden 2 gives players a chance to play how they want. Of course, players can select from over 20 different Grimps, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles. So, swing how you want. Check out the trailer for a glimpse of the colorful gameplay and different game modes. View the trailer below.Â
Pixeljunk Eden 2’s demo is available now until October 16th. The game will release in full on Steam and consoles later this year.
