Mini Golf Meets Dungeon Crawler
Sometimes golf can feel a little boring. What helps is putting the course in dungeons and filling it with deadly enemies. Of course, destroying the monsters is easier given they stole your dog. Today, indie developer Sleeping Giant is happy to announce that their golf puzzle game, Par For the Dungeon, is out now for PC. Interestingly, the game invites players into a stylized golf game that manages to combine the basic elements of golf with the adventure of a dungeon crawler. A press release provides more details on the game itself. Additionally, a new trailer gives players a perfect glimpse of the golf gameplay.Â
Par For the Dungeon invites players to become Cal, the heroic golf ball. Of course, Cal is on an adventure across over one hundred levels, to rescue his dog. Importantly, the goal of each level is the same as actual golf: get Cal in the hole in as few shots as possible. However, this is easier said than done. Hordes of horrific monsters, deadly traps, and confusing puzzles block the path. Players will need to master the approachable controls of the game to get through different environments. For instance, players can expect to travel across quaint towns, snowy crypts, and fungal forests.Â
Of course, gamers can get a look at Par For the Dungeon and its unique style in the launch trailer. Check it out below.Â
