Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.01 Resolves Many Bugs and Enhances Performance
The latest Cyberpunk 2077 update, Patch 2.01, has been unleashed by CD Projekt, catering to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players. Following the substantial 2.0 patch and Phantom Liberty expansion, this update prioritizes bug fixes and enhanced performance. These changes are particularly in the Dogtown area.
One prominent issue resolved by the update is the peculiar screen distortion triggered by specific dialogue choices during conversations with Johnny at the end of Automatic Love. Additionally, a bug causing V to meet an untimely demise during The Heist by falling through an elevator when FPS drops occur has been tackled.
The user interface no longer exhibits controller inputs when playing with a keyboard and mouse, streamlining the gaming experience. Furthermore, players can now smoothly transition to arms cyberwar by cycling through their arsenal.
For those embarking on the Gig: Breaking News quest, it will now be correctly initiated upon reaching the quest area. The update also fine-tunes the vehicle radio volume, ensuring it harmonizes with other in-game sounds.
A notable improvement is the expansion of the maximum save file size limit on PlayStation to counteract corrupted save issues. Nevertheless, this won’t rectify saves that were compromised prior to the update. Players facing this predicament are advised to maintain a functioning save until Patch 2.01 arrives.
CD Projekt intends to continue addressing Cyberpunk 2077 issues through minor patches like 2.01.
