Cheating in Call of Duty MW3 Has Already Begun

Players Have Already Reported Cheating in Call of Duty MW3 During Its First Beta Weekend

The first Call of Duty MW3 Beta weekend comes to an end tomorrow and fans are already concerned about cheating. In a recent post on X, player Duqysss reported an instance of cheating within his PS5 playing experience. The video clearly shows an irregular way of play style that raised concern across the community of Call of Duty players.

Furthermore, Call of Duty has been doing its best to minimize cheating through its anti-cheat system “Ricochet”. In recent years the game has dealt with an extensive amount of cheating, usually being on PC. This resulted in fans changing cross-play settings to avoid lobbies with PC Players. However, some console players have still experienced cheating within the game but Call of Duty has been fairly quick at detecting these hacks.

As the early access for Xbox, and PC continues next weekend, we can only hope we don’t see the same issue arise. In addition, PlayStation’s open beta will begin next weekend, showing us a glimpse of what cross-play will look like for Call of Duty MW3.

In short, the news of cheats already emerging in Call of Duty MW3 is quite worrying, but all we can do is hope the anti-cheat system, and devs can find a solution before the initial release.
